Graffiti

Graffiti is perhaps one of the most controversial art forms. Is graffiti art, vandalism, or is it both? Yes, the costs of cleaning up graffiti from public buildings can be very expensive to the community, but at the same time, I can’t help but admire the art and appreciate the creativity of the artist. I love the fact that a graffiti artist can instantly transport me to a new world when I'm just simply walking down the street.

Graffiti can be whimsical, funny, angry, political, or mysterious. Above all: it always generates an emotion and reaction. These are just some of the many graffiti encounters I have experienced that have made me stop and think.
