When people think of Arizona, three thoughts come to mind: desert, hot, and the Grand Canyon. Yes, Arizona does have those, but it's so much more than that. Arizona is a state that is full of history with immense depth and diversity, not only ecologically but culturally. The more I explore Arizona, the more I feel as though I’ve only seen the surface of it.

This collection of photography takes a look at the symbols of Arizona, exploring the openness and beauty that visitors may feel during their first experiences when they are most perceptive to it's depth.
